The Cancer Association of South Africa (CANSA) is calling on the public at large, including companies, organisations and schools to take part in the 2009 Shavaton, by shaving or spraying their hair in multitude of colours at the CANSA Shavathon at workplaces or at their nearest shopping centre next month. News: Top musician, Mhlongo praises government on “support and love”

World-acclaimed muso, composer and dancer, Busi Mhlongo, yesterday commended the government for its "support and love" for people battling with cancer. Speaking at the Helen Joseph hospital at the Gauteng Department of Health's special banquet in honour of women who had battled breast cancer; Mhlongo said that she had received all her treatment for breast cancer at government hospitals. "Through my long battle with cancer, I found myself surrounded by love and support from people. I am happier now even though I am living without a breast. I am happy," she told guests. [Read More]
