• The SA State Theatre, needs to appoint a new webmaster who will maintain and service statetheatre.co.za website as from 1 April 2009. Ideally the successful candidate should reside in the Gauteng/Tshwane area. Job specification: monthly website updates (approximately 20 hours per month) Daily website maintenance/publishing - content changes - on receipt of information from marketing office Adding, removing productions on website Creating graphics for shows if there aren't any Adding, removing articles on website Changing of information under the various links Converting content to HTML standard (our website's format) Image sourcing if necessary Adapting production graphics to template Photo-editing and manipulation Internet Monthly newsletter compilation to template - on receipt of information from marketing office - the final proof is then to back and the send off is done from SAST server. • Young journalists sought to contribute to One Young World blog. A new organization is seeking young journalists age 23-28 from around the world who are interested in national and international issues including current affairs, media and environment. Chosen journalists will write a weekly blog for the organization's Web site, which is committed to finding leaders of the future. English preferred but all languages welcome. Chosen bloggers will have the opportunity to attend the inaugural summit of the organization - One Young World - in London, from July 6 to 9, 2009. The One Young World summit will be live-streamed to the Internet, and will consist of potential young leaders from every country in the world, and from all sectors, considering resolutions on the role of global business, of politicians, the influence of the media, the environment and co-operation among world religions.
